A Glimpse Inside Enrique When his self-titled album, Enrique, debuted in 1999, Enrique Iglesias swooped on to the American music scene with hits like "Bailamos" and "Be With You." Now, "Hero," the first single from the new record Escape, is burning up the charts. You've no doubt seen the oh-so-hot video, featuring Jennifer Love Hewitt, on MTV and VH1, and drooled over super-sexy Enrique crooning the heart-felt love song. Unlike his previous efforts, Escape, which was released at the end of October, contains songs that span a wide range of genres. Here, Enrique decided to rock the house a little more with loud, upbeat tunes that aren't typical "Latin" fare. He also wanted his own preferences and influences to be reflected and, since he's one of the few pop artists who writes most of his own songs, well, let's just say you should get ready for a whole new sound this time 'round.
