Physical description: Nikita is slimly built and has deep brown eyes and her brown hair has several dark blue streaks. She wears a tight white sleeveless top cut off just above her belly button and white trainers. For movability she wears a pair of baggy blue overall-like trousers but doesn't wear a bra. Around her neck is a cat-bell held by a white and red coloured thread strap. Her earrings are small silver crosses and her belly button piercing is a silver gun bullet. She always carries her dark green backpack with her wherever she goes.
In her cursed form she appears to look like a normal gray-blue cat.

Personality: Nikita is likeable, and very adventurous. She is highly skilled in battle and at most times prefers to work alone to make sure no one else can get hurt. Due to her background she feels she has no choice but to fight for the human race. Most of the time she's quite happy even though the future looks bleak. Lately however she has been sensing that something extremely bad is going to happen in the city of Inverse.

Past history: Nikita is a descendent of Ryoko Takabe, a cursed demon hunter, and sadly the curse was past through the bloodline. The curse is an unusual one that is triggered by certain factors, which transforms her into a normal household cat. To recognize her, her parents put Ryoko's cat-bell around her neck as it's the only thing that stays on her when she transmutes.
Being in a family of demon hunters meant she was compelled to continue the tradition and she accepted her fate. She was taught many weapon techniques and found that the naginata was her suited weapon. She was also shown that she had a strong ability to control elemental magic that she trained hard at. Her ability to astral project was discovered one night while she was sleeping, she now often performs this while in her cursed form.
Her family taught her a lot of other things, mostly biased and old fashioned, including that all demons no matter what are evil.
When she was 16 she met Marc Brownett who was fighting off a demon and helped him. She knew the legend of the 'chosen one' and was happy when she found out who he was. Nikita decided to join The Hunters Guild with Marc, as working in a team was much better than being alone. Her family were not happy about this however, as a Takabe Hunter should always work alone and be detached from the rest of the world.
Along the way she has leant that not all demons are evil and that the 'old ways' are not always the best ways.
