Physical description: She has short black hair, brown eyes and looks like she's 10-11. She makes herself have the appearance of a boy. She wears a purple bandana covering her hair with only a little bit peaking out. She wears black gloves that seem really lose around the wrists, worn out jeans, T-shirt (black), and a pair of worn out boots. She has a jagged scar on her right hand, always hidden.

Personality: Appears to be tough and uncaring, but is really a loving and caring person who enjoys helping others (though she pretends not to care, even when she's helping). Having grown up a street rat she learned early to be tough and show no weakness, and learned to pretend to be a guy before she understood why. She can be blunt and doesn't often feel the need to hide what she's thinking. She has and adventurous spirit, but even though she likes action she knows how to be observant, quite and still for hours on end. She is also remarkably smart and a quick learner. But because of her lack of formal education does not go beyond what is needed for her age in the education department.

Past history: A year after the breaking, Mana found herself in the middle of a battle between her parents and some high level demons. Her parents were two who had helped seal up Okii-Kaji (her mother is decent of the wise man and her father was a black mage).
She witnessed her parents' brutal death, and them kill many demons, from a hiding place. When it was over, after finding her parents 'wouldn't wake up' she went in search for help. She came upon an injured demon (wasn't like the ones that attacked) that she helped heal with an easy spell her mom taught her.
They went back to the site of her parent death and buried them. They also collected family items. The demon became Mana's 'Aunty' and took care of her until she was 7. The day of her (assumed) 7th birthday Mana woke to find her Aunty missing with only a strange gemstone left behind.
After awhile of surviving on her own she ended up saving a girl named Caly, from some street thugs, using magic taught to her by her Aunty. Caly then hired Mana for odd jobs whenever she needed work done in town and taught her everything she could about thievery. Living mostly on her own from 7 she took it upon herself to learn. By teaching herself (with some help from Caly) she is at an average level for someone her age.

Purple bandana, the side she keeps hidden has a symbol painted on it of two dragons (one black, on white) intertwining over a magic wand on a shield.
A small sword shaped gemstone her Aunty left behind. It emits an aura similar to a demon's scent that causes demons to think of her as one of their own and so not bother attacking her.
